Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at purrfectpersiansnyc@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We offer a one-year warranty based on genetic disease. If, during this one year, you take your kitten to the vet and they provide you with paperwork stating that the kitten you received from us has a genetic disorder, etc., then we will exchange your kitten with another one of your choice from any of our future litters.

When you come for pick up, you will receive both the kitten and a carrier full of things for their care. The carrier will contain: Medical Records, Our CFA certification, 1 collar per kitten, one can of wet cat food, one small bag of kibbles and treats, and a pet pad.

Before leaving, the kittens will be provided with both deworming and their 3-in-1 booster shot. The 3-in-1 booster shot includes distemper, etc. All vaccinations and medical information will be provided upon pickup.

The short answer is yes, we test our kings and queens for genetic disease. We want to ensure we provide you with a wonderful kitten without any health risks.

After the kitties are weaned off of their mama, we start with wet food and transition them to dry food. However, that doesn't mean they can't still eat wet food by the time they leave. We use the brands: Purina One and Royal Canin. After pick up, you can switch to whichever brand you prefer; however, you must do it slowly so as not to upset their stomachs.

We at Purrfect Persians refuse to hand over any kitten that is under 10 weeks. We keep the kittens this long so that when you come pick up your forever friend, they are litter trained, eating wet/dry food, and are well socialized with other humans and animals. We want the transition period to be as easy as possible.

We tend to have new litters around every three months. We keep a waitlist and continuously update the website.

Yes, there is a waitlist for in case we do not have any kittens available at that time. We highly encourage those searching for a kitten to apply for the waitlist. To apply for it, you must contact us and let us know what kind of kitten you are searching for, along with your information. We will get in contact with you to confirm everything so that once we have a litter available, we can reach you ASAP to follow up. And NO, there is no fee for our waitlist!
